How to Play

Puck Hole is based on shuffleboard and cornhole. The object of the game is to slide pucks across the table and into the hole to earn points. The first player or team to reach 21 points wins.

Rounds
Opposing players alternate sliding four pucks per round.
Players switch turns after every puck until the round is complete.

Earning Points (Cancellation Scoring)
You must outscore your opponent to earn points for the round.
Only the difference in score is awarded as points.

  • Point Zone (completely) — +1 point
  • In the hole — +3 points
  • Puck on the ground (“Party Foul”)
+3 points awarded to the opposing team for each puck, regardless of color
  • Trap — 0 points
  • Zero Zone — 0 points
  • Not past the Mid Line (“Dud”)
0 points; the opponent may remove the puck if desired

Winning
The first player or team to earn at least 21 points by the end
of a round wins the game. Ties are not possible. You may score more than
21 points, and you do not need to win by two.

Singles & Doubles Play
In singles, each player throws from the same side of the table. In doubles, partners stand directly across from one another, competing against the opposing team’s partner.

A coin flip determines who throws first. The player or team that scores in a round throws first in the next round. The team that wins a game leads off the next game.
